Job Description

What You Will Accomplish

• Inspect all assigned rooms pre-arrival.
• Provide reports to the Director of Housekeeping daily.
• Inspect rooms cleaned by staff to ensure all inventories are in and the guest room is cleaned properly before turning over to Housekeeping Supervisors.
• Communicate with Housekeeping office and Supervisors to request needed supplies.
• Properly use, secure, and return keys daily.
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Department immediately.
• Check inventory in rooms such as linen, remote controls, decor, dishes and cookware, paper products, cleaning supplies, and electric appliances.
• Report any missing inventory.
• Check cleanliness of rooms using proper checklists.
• Report any maintenance requests to the Engineering Department.
• Report any unsatisfactory work in rooms to supervisors or managers.
• Assist in cleaning rooms when necessary.

What You Will Bring

• Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel setting.
• Availability on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle, handle, or feel objects, stand for long periods, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Great If You Have

• Ability to interact effectively with all hotel staff and guests.
• One year of experience in a similar role.
