Job summary

The Westin Great Southern Columbus is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Inspector to join our team. You will help ensure impeccably clean guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces, supporting the room attendants and public area staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You should have strong attention to detail, reliability, and physical stamina for a role that often requires standing and moving throughout shifts. Flexible day/weekend availability is desired.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role is a plus.
• Ability to work physically and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Flexibility to work varied day and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of cleaned guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.

The Westin Great Southern Hotel is looking for our next great team members to join us on our Housekeeping Team. We are seeking experienced and customer service-oriented individuals to fill the position of Housekeeping Inspector. Here is what you will be doing each day:

Assist in the inspection of cleaned guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Assists with assignments of special requests, issuance of supplies to staff and logs items into the Lost & Found log as needed. Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

You have previous experience in a similar position in a hotel is a plus. You have a keen eye for detail, and respect the importance that impeccably clean guest room and supplies have in a hotel.
