Hyatt Regency Houston is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms in the downtown Houston property. You will join a team that upholds Hyatt's standards and delivers a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight (20 Lbs. - 50 Lbs.) and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms in accordance with Hyatt standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels, amenities, and guest supplies as needed.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, and ensure all room surfaces are clean and well maintained.
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and proper presentation prior to completion.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and lost and found items following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate room status information and communicate updates as required.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and properly handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and stock levels of housekeeping carts and assigned storage areas.
• Promote Hyatt's Culture of Care through exceptional guest service and quality standards.
