Job summary

You will follow established cleaning procedures, stock supplies, and coordinate with supervision to ensure rooms are ready for occupancy while maintaining safety with chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain room assignments from Supervisor at the beginning of the shift.
• Check cart stock to ensure it is properly stocked.
• Know the correct procedure for entering a guest room.
• Move the cart with the open side facing the room after entering a guest room.
• Follow a set pattern of steps for daily cleaning of occupied and check-out rooms.
• Check room for damages to furniture and equipment.
• Report all damages and missing items to Supervisor immediately.
• Perform a final room inspection before leaving a guest room.
• Notify Housekeeping that the room is clean and its occupancy status.
• Restock cart and remove trash and dirty linen at the end of the shift.
• Respond to guest questions.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor.

• Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to use chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Obtain room assignments from your Supervisor at the beginning of the shift
• Check your cart to make sure it is correctly stocked
• Know the correct procedure for entering a guest room.
• After entering a room, move your cart across the opening of the room door with the open side of the cart facing the room.
• Follow a set pattern of steps for daily cleaning of occupied and check-out rooms so nothing is missed.
• Check room for damages furniture and equipment.
• Report all damage and missing items to your Supervisor immediately.
• Before leaving a guest room, give the entire room one last inspection.
• Notify Housekeeping that the room is clean and whether it is occupied or vacant.
• Restock your cart, remove any trash and dirty linen, at the end of the shift so it is ready for the next day.
• Respond to guest questions.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor
