Hyatt Regency La Jolla seeks a Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms, including changing linens, towels, and cleaning surfaces. Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed. Communicate with guests to ensure exceptional service and uphold Hyatt standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred, ideally in a hotel setting.
• Ability to communicate with guests.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, push, pull a moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, change bed linens, replace towels and bathroom linens, and ensure room standards are met.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Assist with guest requests and maintain a high level of service during all interactions.

About the Role – Room Attendant

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. This may include but is not limited to; changing bed linens, replacing towels and bathroom linens, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming all floors, disinfecting all surfaces and high-touch items in the guest room and bathroom, replacing bathroom amenities, removing trash and dirty linen from the room and ensuring all guest room standards are adhered to. Guest room service will include full service and stayover services. Room Attendants are expected to complete all assigned credits within their scheduled shift hours while adhering to all safety standards. Candidates should be able to communicate with guests to ensure exceptional service is provided during all interactions. Candidates should have open and flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Wage Information:

The hourly rate for this position is $24.25. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.
