Overview

A hotel room attendant keeps guest rooms clean, comfortable and well‑maintained. The role prioritises guest satisfaction and is central to the overall hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, dust, and sanitize all surfaces.
• Vacuum and mop floors as needed.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs.
• Replace toiletries and towels as necessary.
• Ensure all in‑room amenities are fully stocked.
• Empty trash cans, replace liners, and dispose of waste in accordance with hotel policies.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or damages and report them to maintenance.
• Report any lost items to the lost‑and‑found department.
• Set up extra beds or cribs as required.
• Greet guests politely and respond to requests promptly.
• Follow safety and security procedures for guest keys and belongings.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Sign‑on bonus of $300.
