Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms according to company procedures and standards.
Essential Job Functions

- Stock housekeeping supplies to ensure adequate cleaning needs, equipment, and amenities for each room.
- Observe knocking procedures before entering a guest room.
- Clean assigned guest rooms, ensuring amenities are stocked and completing the housekeeping checklist.
- Mark rooms as clean for supervisor inspection.
- Report damages or hazards in guest rooms, such as broken furniture or lights.
- Secure guest room doors upon exiting.
- Keep corridors and service areas tidy.
- Return lost and found items and guest room keys.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Be aware of fire prevention and emergency procedures.
- Use protective equipment as required.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or property issues to management.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Assist other housekeeping staff as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to bend, reach, dust, and make beds and bathrooms.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and left-behind belongings.
- Use written communication to document completed work.
- Perform cleaning duties efficiently with quick hand movements.
Physical Demands
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent twisting, bending, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and seeing.
