Job Summary: The Housekeeping Room Attendant involves high guest contact and is the first point of contact with guests. Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of hotel rooms, ensuring safety standards, and reporting maintenance issues. Tasks include cleaning guest rooms, vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows, stocking supplies, and completing assignment sheets.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and transport at least 25 pounds, push/pull carts up to 100 pounds, work in various environments, and stand for extended periods. Work may involve exposure to variable temperatures, noise, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Computer skills required; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred. Good communication skills in English are necessary.
Salary: $16 per hour
