Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago North Shore Deerfield is seeking a housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hotel team. You will maintain clean guest rooms and uphold Hilton standards of service.

Eligible candidates should be able to lift, stand for long periods, and follow cleaning protocols. Benefits include medical/dental/vision after qualification, bonuses, 401k with match, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, change linens, and restock bathrooms.
• Straighten furniture and return chairs/tables to designated areas.
• Inspect rooms and report malfunctions or damage to supervisor.
• Occasional light and heavy lifting.
• Maintain speed and efficiency to clean rooms within time targets.
• Uphold a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling.
• Be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Follow detailed cleaning protocols to prepare guest rooms.

Duties:

• Cleaning guest rooms, including changing the bed linens and cleaning and replenishing the bathroom
• Straighten furniture and return chairs and tables to the appropriate areas
• Check the general conditions of the room and notify supervisor of any malfunction or damage
• Some light and heavy lifting
• Ability to clean rooms efficiently within a time frame
• High standard of cleanliness
• Some flexibility in work schedule
• Must be able to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Follow detailed cleaning protocols to ready guest rooms
