Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Polaris is seeking a professional housekeeper to keep guest rooms and public areas clean and orderly. You will make beds, wash sheets, mop, dust, and restock supplies while ensuring restrooms and common areas meet hotel standards.

Ideal candidates are personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team, with over 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred. High school diploma or GED is not required but preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• 1+ year of professional housekeeping experience preferred.
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain common spaces including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms.

You'll perform basic cleaning duties like making beds, washing sheets, mopping, dusting, and ironing; you'll also restock supplies and make sure restrooms and common areas are clean and orderly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain common spaces including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms.
• Reply to general questions guests have during their stay.
• Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed.
• Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel's standards before guests arrive.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products.
• High school diploma/GED preferred by not required.
• Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired.
• Possess a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills.
