The Room Attendant is responsible for one of the most important tasks in the hotel: ensuring that each guest experiences clean accommodations and facilities, making sure that all traces of previous guests are removed, and that everything is working properly.

- Contributes to departmental and property monthly goals for guest satisfaction by doing the job right the first time and providing exemplary service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Attends Housekeeping Morning Huddle and reviews assigned rooms. Checks cart for appropriate items, tools, linen, and terry.
- Follows all safety protocols, including OSHA/HAZCOM procedures, and uses proper chemicals according to safety guidelines.
- Maintains proper cart placement, awareness of surroundings, and security of keys. Is trained in emergency procedures and aware of security threats, reporting issues promptly.
- Checks out rooms following proper procedures, including knocking, announcing, and opening doors if unoccupied.
- Positions cart for security; moves it if guests return. Ensures room drapes, lighting, and fixtures are in proper condition and set to standards.
- Empties trash, removes used amenities, and handles guest items appropriately.
- Changes bedding, checks for damages, and reports issues via Quore.
- Performs detailed cleaning of rooms, including furniture, appliances, bathroom fixtures, and floors, following established protocols.
- Ensures all amenities are replenished, and rooms are properly arranged and secured.
- Completes laundry and deep cleaning tasks as assigned, documenting progress in Quore.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
- Reports discrepancies and guest complaints, taking responsibility to resolve issues to guest satisfaction.
- Follows all brand standards and maintains attendance and uniform standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
