Job summary

Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center is seeking a dedicated housekeeping staff member to maintain the cleanliness of its facilities. The role includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, bathroom upkeep, laundry handling, and inventory of supplies.

Weekend 12-hour day/night shifts are required, with on-call temporary support as needed. Preferred candidates hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and have 1+ year healthcare housekeeping experience or 2+ years general housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors; vacuum carpets; clean bathrooms and stocking supplies.

• All related housekeeping duties; weekends 12-hour day/night shifts; on-call support.

This position is responsible for the cleanliness of buildings operated by the Center and ensure that the buildings are maintained at the highest standards and quality in keeping with the nature of the services provided such as sweeping and moping of floors; vacuuming carpeted areas; cleaning and maintaining (supplies) in bathrooms; cleaning walls, doors and windows; removal and storage of soiled laundry; maintain and stock housekeeping storage rooms; and all related housekeeping duties. Must be available on weekends for 12-hour day/night shift. Additionally, this position is expected to be available on-call for temporary housekeeping support as needed.
