The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining rooms, demonstrating a friendly disposition and a passion for hospitality. Strong communication skills in English and a teamwork-oriented approach are essential. The hotel features 248 rooms spread across 12 floors, setting a new standard for luxury accommodations in the DMV area. With the largest luxury meeting space in Northern Virginia—35,000 sq ft and two ballrooms with 20‑foot ceilings—plus floor‑to‑ceiling windows and a large skylight, it is conveniently located along the Silver Line Metro, between Dulles International and Reagan National airports.

Responsibilities

• Dust all furniture, pictures and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
• Clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and floors with approved cleaning agents.
• Polish and clean all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
• Select room keys, retrieve and push to assigned rooms; restock heavy cart. Inspect rooms for cleanliness and appearance; sign off upon completion.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Represent JW Marriott’s brand identity, values and pillars.
