Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Lansdowne, VA is seeking a Housekeeping Porter to maintain clean, organized common areas and assist residents with a friendly, service-oriented approach.

You will perform trash removal, closet restocking, equipment storage, floor cleaning, and restroom maintenance while engaging residents in a positive manner. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and people skills.
• Housekeeping or janitorial experience or willingness to learn.
• Cleanliness and organization come naturally.

Responsibilities

• Empties trash from designated trash rooms, offices and break lounge.
• Restock all janitorial closets and keep them neat and organized.
• Cleans equipment and places equipment in the proper storage area.
• Sweeps and damp mops vinyl flooring throughout the community.
• When in a resident apartment home, engage with the resident to make their day a bit brighter!
• Keep shared community spaces clean by removing trash, vacuuming, disinfecting, etc.
• Help stock housekeeping supplies in resident apartments.
• Keeps public and staff restrooms clean and neat. Checks and refills soap and hand towel dispensers as necessary.
• Changes community fixture light bulbs as required.
