Job Summary

As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for assisting in directing and overseeing the support services operational needs of the department. You will coordinate the tasks of the frontline associates and serve as a liaison between administration and unit departments to provide high-quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish and review standards and work procedures for staff annually.
  • Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate service.
  • Assist in hiring, interviewing, and training new staff.
  • Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory/housekeeping staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations.
  • Report on goals, accomplishments, and plans monthly.
  • Provide staff education and ongoing training.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and other departments.
  • Coordinate outside services such as pest control, window cleaning, waste management, and recycling programs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a high customer contact environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a changing environment.
  • Leadership qualities, initiative, and responsibility.
  • Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
