Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join the Graduate by Hilton Columbia team in Columbia, SC. SHG operates across 38 states and 3 countries with a strong service culture and expansive benefits.

The role leads housekeeping operations, schedules coverage, hires and develops staff, and ensures guest areas meet high standards. This position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a growing hospitality company.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of high school education; post-high school education preferred.
• Minimum of two years in housekeeping management position.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage
• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness. Counsels Housekeepers on discrepancies
• Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary
• Hires, coaches and disciplines direct reports
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of three (2) years in Housekeeping management position

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills

Compensation Range

$55,000-$60,000 (annually based on experience)
