Qualifications

In this role, you will lead and motivate your housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will ensure a welcoming and pristine environment, enhancing the guest experience from check-in to check-out.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Supervise staff including Housekeeping Supervisors, Housepersons, and Room Attendants through meetings, inspections, and guidance to meet standards.
  • Interview, hire, and train staff on procedures, chemical use, and repair reporting.
  • Manage staff schedules based on occupancy and projects, and process payroll accurately.
  • Maintain records for budgeting, forecasting, and inspection scores.
  • Monitor inventories and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Coach and discipline staff, and arrange additional training when necessary.
  • Implement hotel-wide standards and coordinate with laundry and contractors for maintenance and linen services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Hotel Specific:


  • Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Operate across multiple hotel outlets.

Physical Demands:


  • Lift or move materials up to 100 lbs.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout shifts.

Qualifications:


Education:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:


  • 1-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role in housekeeping (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS systems like Springer Miller, Hotsos, or Revinate is a plus.
  • Previous hotel experience in rooms division preferred.
