Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a results-driven Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department in Orlando, FL. You will plan, organize, and develop the overall operation while ensuring the highest quality of guest care and compliance with standards.

You will staff, schedule, train, and develop hourly staff, manage inventory and supplies, and collaborate with safety teams to maintain OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a housekeeping department and staff.
• Ability to staff, schedule, train, and develop hourly workers.
• Understanding of OSHA and safety standards in housekeeping.
• Experience preparing and managing annual housekeeping budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department.
• Plan, organize, and direct team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Supervise employees, hire/discharge, and enforce policies.
• Purchase, re-order, and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.
• Ensure OSHA and safety standards within the department.

Job description

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality guest care are maintained at all times. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training, and developing hourly staff.

• Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department
• Planning, organizing, and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
• Supervises all housekeeping employees hires new employees as needed, discharges employees when necessary and take disciplinary actions when policies are not followed
• Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the Housekeeping department.
• Prepare Annual Housekeeping Budget.
