The Housekeeping Manager will report directly to the Executive Housekeeper. This position serves as the department's second in command and assumes full operational leadership when the Executive Housekeeper is absent.
Support daily housekeeping and laundry operations across guest rooms, suites, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and hotel facilities.
Supervise, train, coach, schedule, and support housekeeping and laundry team members to deliver exceptional cleanliness and guest experience standards.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and operational spaces to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are consistently maintained.
Monitor guest satisfaction, room readiness, service recovery situations, and housekeeping operational performance throughout shifts.
Partner closely with Front Office, Engineering, Operations, and hotel leadership teams to support smooth hotel operations and guest readiness.
Support housekeeping productivity, labor management, inventory organization, linen control, and departmental operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with hotel operational procedures, sanitation standards, OSHA regulations, chemical handling guidelines, and safety policies.
Assist with onboarding, employee engagement, training, scheduling, and team development initiatives within the department.
Monitor housekeeping supplies, operational equipment, storage organization, and cleanliness across workspaces and service areas.
Support VIP arrivals, group business, deep cleaning projects, room inspections, and special operational initiatives as needed.
Help foster a collaborative, energetic, and guest-focused culture aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.

Pay starting from $45,000 per year
