Job summary

Kansas Medical Center is seeking a Manager to oversee the hospital housekeeping department. The role requires knowledge of infection control, chemical usage, and compliance with OSHA and state protocols. You will train staff, perform QA inspections, and address staff issues while maintaining a healthy work environment across the hospital.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of supervisory housekeeping experience and hospital exposure. Compensation and benefits are competitive.

Qualifications

• Two to five years as supervisor in the housekeeping field with high customer/client contact required.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of housekeeping practices including infection control and chemical usage.
• Must work alongside staff periodically; ability to motivate and maintain a healthy work environment; addressing issues with staff, interviewing and selecting staff, conducting performance evaluations.
