Job summary

The Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel is hiring a proactive Lobby Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. You will help ensure our public spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, staying active and organized while you work.

We value guests’ comfort and offer flexible day schedules, physical work, and opportunities to grow within a hospitality-focused organization. Prior hotel experience is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel environment is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning duties.
• Strong teamwork and time-management skills.

The Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel is looking for our next great team members to join us on our Housekeeping Team. We are seeking experienced and customer service-oriented individuals to fill the position of Lobby Attendant. For some, traveling and being away is fun; however, many travelers miss being home. Our Housekeeping team makes our hotels feel like home. As a Room Attendant, your contribution helps ensure guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We are committed to providing you with:

Here is what you will be doing each day:

Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents. Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed. Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion. Clean floors and empty trash. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
