Aimbridge Hospitality is hiring a Housekeeping Assistant Supervisor for our Homewood Suites Columbus Hilliard property in Hilliard, OH. The role duties include supervising housekeeping staff, inspecting rooms to standards, and assisting with training.

The candidate should have 1–2 years in a hotel or related field and a High School diploma. In this role you will ensure clean and orderly guest rooms, support the housekeeping team, and help carry out daily assignments, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• At least 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance as required by hotel standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming with proper uniform and name tag.
• Ensure records of daily assignments are completed and turned into the Housekeeping Office on time.
• Assist with supervision of all staff in Laundry and Housekeeping and hold them accountable.
• Oversee VIP rooms and report availability to Front Office in supervisor absence.
• Oversee daily duties and monitor staff carts, linen closets, and work areas.
• Initiate work orders for repairs and follow through to completion.
• Attend meetings as required by Management.
• Perform other duties as requested by Management.
