Job summary

Cartersville Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Tech to maintain a warm, home-like atmosphere for residents. You will clean rooms, launder linens, and ensure a welcoming environment with attention to safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry laundry bags, push carts.

• Collect, wash, dry, and fold laundry including linens and resident clothing.
• Distribute clean laundry to appropriate areas and resident rooms.

What You'll Do:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and shared facilities
• Collect, wash, dry, and fold laundry, including linens and resident clothing
• Distribute clean laundry to appropriate areas and resident rooms
• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow cleaning protocols and infection control procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
• Handle clothing and linens with care and respect
• Ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all residents
• Work alongside a supportive and compassionate team

What We're Looking For:

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience (especially in healthcare or long-term care — a plus, but not required!)
• Ability to lift and carry laundry bags and push carts
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
