Job summary

Avantara St. Cloud is seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor to lead the Environmental Services Department, ensuring a clean, odor-free, safe facility for residents.

You will create staff schedules, manage paperwork, order supplies, oversee room moves and deep cleans, and train new hires while assisting Maintenance as needed. Strong computer skills and prior healthcare housekeeping supervision are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience supervising housekeeping in a healthcare setting.
• Two years of Housekeeping Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
• Must be able to use a computer for Microsoft Office programs, email, and web-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Supervising Environmental Services Department (Housekeeping and Laundry).
• Creating Schedules for employees and ensuring staffing needs are met.
• Ensuring paperwork is completed and accurately in place.
• Ordering supplies and stocking supplies.
• Resident Room moves and deep cleans.
• Utilizing Floor Scrubbing Machine.
• Hiring and training new employees within the department.
• Assistant to the Maintenance Director - assist with facility Maintenance Needs and repairs as requested.
