Job summary

Oxford Casino Hotel in Oxford, Maine, seeks a Laundry Attendant/Dual Rate Housekeeping Supervisor to support the Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of housekeeping and laundry. You will coordinate the housekeeping team, inspect rooms and public areas, ensure SOP adherence, train Room Attendants and Laundry Attendants, and help achieve hotel objectives.

The role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays, with a focus on safety and guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task and take direction.
• General computer skills, including Email and Microsoft Office; familiarity with property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure rooms are clean and inspected prior to guest check-in.
• Plan, assign and coordinate room boards and activities for room attendants.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping staffing needs based on business volume and workload.
• Lead pre-shift team member meetings.
• Manage Lost-and-Found items, inquiries, returns and shipping & billing process.
