Job summary

Ohio Living in Monroe, OH is seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Manager to direct operations across the department within a life plan community. You will oversee cleaning, laundry, linen management, and policy development while coordinating with Culinary, Maintenance, Therapy, and Social Services to ensure resident well-being.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in housekeeping/laundry operations, a high school diploma, and preferred IEHA/ALM credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• IEHA Executive Housekeeper designation preferred.
• ALM CLLM designation preferred.
• Three years experience in housekeeping and/or laundry operations management required.
• Knowledge of long-term care housekeeping practices and regulations.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, develops, and directs housekeeping and laundry activities.
• Manages housekeeping functions including cleaning, laundry, and linen inventory.
• Coordinates with Culinary, Maintenance, Therapy, and Social Services to ensure continuity of care.
• Develops and maintains policies and procedures for housekeeping and laundry.
• Directly or indirectly manages all staff and ensures staffing plans.
• Ensures safety, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.
