The Victus Group Master is seeking a Laundry Attendant for duties at Holiday Inn Clovis, CA. The role involves operating industrial washers and dryers, loading and unloading linens, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace within the hotel laundry room.
On a typical day you will retrieve used linen, fold and store clean items, report safety risks, and support other housekeeping tasks as needed. This position supports both full-time and part-time schedules with breaks and standard hotel shifts.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK PLACE/WORKSTATION: The work takes place within the laundry room at the hotel facility. The floor surfaces at the location are cement, or linoleum. All of the work areas are both well-lit and temperature controlled. The Laundry Attendant may be exposed for limited periods of time to various weather conditions when working on landings and in other outdoor areas. The areas where other related activities are performed include guest rooms, bathrooms, lounges, lobbies, landings, elevators, stairways, kitchens, and linen storage areas.
The Laundry Attendant’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all linen and related item needs for the hotel facility are met. Within a 15’-25’ work area, the Laundry Attendant processes various linen and other laundry items for washing and cleaning using industrial washers and dryers. He/She retrieves, stores, washes linens, pillows, carpets, and shower curtains using machinery, detergents, containers, push carts, push racks, “Chem.” Bins, and “Extra Hand” Laundry Processing Device (For hanging/folding large sheets, bedspreads, etc.). He/She repeats this process throughout the work shift. The Laundry Attendant maintains general cleanliness according to company standards. He/She may perform other duties as required.
