Accolade Healthcare in Peoria Heights, IL seeks a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable facility for residents and staff. You will work under the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure hygienic environments in accordance with standards.

The role requires English literacy, ability to follow instructions, and a collaborative attitude; supervisory experience is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions on cleaning solutions.
• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules under the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report accidents or incidents to supervisor.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish fixtures and surfaces.
• Wash, sanitize, and maintain laundry.
• Clean floors daily: sweep, dust, mop, wax, disinfect.
• Dispose waste properly and reline trash receptacles.
• Use PPE when handling chemicals or infectious materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
