Job summary

Paramount Community Living and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment across the facility. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and launder linens in accordance with infection control policies and safety regulations.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a courteous approach to residents and staff. Prior healthcare housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred, with weekends and holidays required for full-time

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and commitment to resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to schedule and procedures.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces as assigned.
• Collect and launder linens, towels, and residents’ personal clothing.
• Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry to proper locations.
• Label resident cloths as applicable.
• Operate laundry and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow proper infection control and isolation cleaning procedures.
• Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning solutions as directed.
• Report needed repairs or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping cart and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.
• Provide respectful and courteous service to residents and staff

Description

The Housekeeping and Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and laundering linens and personal clothing in accordance with facility standards, infection control policies, and safety regulations.

Housekeeping & Laundry Aide Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to schedule and procedures.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces as assigned.
• Collect and launder linens, towels, and residents’ personal clothing.
