Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment across the facility. This role includes cleaning resident rooms and common areas, and laundering linens in accordance with infection control policies.

The position requires reliability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work weekday shifts; weekend/holiday hours may be required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Description

The Housekeeping and Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and laundering linens and personal clothing in accordance with facility standards, infection control policies, and safety regulations.

Housekeeping & Laundry Aide Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to schedule and procedures.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces as assigned.
• Collect and launder linens, towels, and residents’ personal clothing.
• Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry to proper locations.
• Label resident cloths as applicable.
• Operate laundry and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow proper infection control and isolation cleaning procedures.
• Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning solutions as directed.
• Report needed repairs or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping cart and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.
• Provide respectful and courteous service to residents and staff

Qualification
