As a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide Team member you will be responsible for improving our residents experience and maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Your focus will be the basic quality-of-life for our residents, so duties such as housekeeping, laundry, and following environmental procedures will be key in the individualized care.

Housekeeper/ Laundry Aide's day-to-day will include:

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assinged.
• Discard waste/trash into proper containers and relibe trash receptacle. Discard infectious wastes in proper containers.
• Follow housekeeping safety regulatiions and precautions at all times.
• Greets and assists all internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors and team members.

• Strong interpersonal skills, especially when it comes to delivering sensitive information to patients and/or families.
• Must be alert and attentive to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Be able to make independent decisions concerning above job duties.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family member, visitors, government agencies/personnel, vendors, and the general public.
• Be knowledgeable of dietary and meal prep practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
  
  
  

Schedule needs:

• 8 hour shifts
• Full-time and part-time Housekeeping/Laundry Aide shift for day and evening availability
• Weekend and every other weekend availablility
