Job summary

Concord-Care-Center-of-Toledo is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry candidate to manage linen separation, washing, drying, and distribution for residents. The role requires adherence to infection control procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will check name labels on clothing, rewrite names when needed, and support nursing staff by stocking linen carts. A high school diploma or GED and strong verbal/written communication are required. Training provided.

• Fills linen carts and distributes to nursing.
• Responsible for infection control procedures to handle, store, process and transport linens.
• Maintains clean and safe work area (mopping, lint screen cleaning, dusting).
• Checks name labels on resident clothing and rewrites names as needed.

Qualified Candidates for Housekeeping/Laundry will be able to complete the following tasks:Seperate dirty linen and resident clothing Washes dirty linen and resident clothing Dries linen and clothing Sepetates, fold, hangs and distributes resident clothing Seperate and folds clean linen Fills linen carts and distributes to nursing Responsible for following the department's infection control procedures to handle, store, process and transport linens so as to prevent the spread ofinfection Maintains clean and safe work area, including mopping daily, cleaning lint screen on dryer, dusting machine and cleaning hamper bags Check name on resident clothing to make sure it is legible and if not, ensures proper measures are taken to rewrite name And other duties

Qualifactions for Housekeeping/Laundry: Ability to understand and interpret policies and procedures, emergency procedures and hazard communiction procedures high school education or GED Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the task required
