Job summary

Stephanie Inn in Cannon Beach, Oregon, is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to ensure guest rooms meet our high cleanliness standards. You will coach and support housekeeping staff, monitor room cleanliness, and help maintain inventory and supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques/chemical applications a plus.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

• Coach and counsel housekeepers when guest room are not cleaned to standards.
• Collects soiled linens for laundering and receives and stores linen supplies in linen closet.
• Moves and arranges furniture. Turns mattresses. Hangs draperies. Performs duties as assigned by Executive Housekeeper or supervisor.
• Maintains storage areas neat and organized. Maintains proper par of supplies as needed of room supplies and communicates damage or shortages to supervisor.
• Ensures proper use and care of all equipment.
• Reports damages, lost items, or anything unusual or suspicious.
• Assists PA and housekeepers with cleaning, trash and recycling.
• Assists in the cleaning of rooms, as needed.
