Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to oversee housekeeping staff and inspect daily work to ensure guest rooms are ready, clean, and in line with brand standards. The role aims to create a welcoming, stylish, and comfortable experience for guests.

You will use a standard checklist, coordinate with Front Office and Engineering, assign rooms in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, and ensure safety and grooming standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Inspect all rooms daily using a standard checklist.
• Notify room attendants of deficiencies and ensure corrections on re-inspection.
• Prepare daily room assignments in absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
• Report maintenance repairs to Engineering.
• Coordinate with Front Office regarding room discrepancies.
• Maintain deep cleaning/rotating cleaning checklist to ensure daily tasks are met.
• Inspect room attendants’ carts/boards at end of each shift.
• Respond to guest requests and report guest issues.
• Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.
• Perform their work in a safe manner.
• Adhere to hotel uniform and grooming standards.
