Job summary

Hyatt Valencia is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to supervise Room Attendants and inspect guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies. This role ensures cleanliness and safety standards across all areas of the hotel.

You will assign work, train associates, and address guest complaints while coordinating with other departments. A high school diploma is preferred and 2–3 years of housekeeping experience is required; background check is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with safety data sheet regulations when using chemicals.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy objects.
• Ability to understand simple instructions.
• Ability to learn basic procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to Room Attendants and train associates in housekeeping duties; may perform cleaning duties.
• Address guests’ complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment.
• Write requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements.
• Examine carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
• Count linens and supplies; aid budget control through supervision of usage.
• Record inspection results and notify cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
• Communicate with other hotel departments regarding issues.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Assign work to Room Attendants and train associates in housekeeping duties; may perform cleaning duties.
• Adjust guests’ complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment.
• Write requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements.
• Examine carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
• Check and count linens and supplies. Aid in budget control through supervision of employees’ use of linen, supplies and equipment.
• Record inspection results and notify cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
• Communicate with other hotel departments regarding problems which need their attention.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

KEY STRENGTHS FOR SUCCESS

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• At least 2-3 years of housekeeping experience required
