Role Overview

The Houseperson works closely with Room Attendants, supporting them in maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This position is vital to the Housekeeping team. Shifts include AM, PM, and Overnight.

Essential Functions

• Removing trash from work areas and housekeeping closets, and from cleaning carts
• Reporting linen shortages or discrepancies to managers
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage and distribution areas
• Distributing linen and supplies across the hotel according to established par levels
• Delivering supplies and linens to guest rooms and floors
• Making up and delivering roll-away beds and cribs
• Cleaning guest corridors, including floors, carpets, walls, furniture, fixtures, elevators, and tracks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous hotel experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

This role requires standing and mobility for up to 7 hours, pushing/pulling carts weighing up to 250 lbs, lifting up to 75 lbs, and performing tasks such as bending, squatting, and climbing. Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and communication skills are essential.

Compensation

The pay scale for the Housekeeping Houseperson position is $29.00 per hour. This is the base wage, excluding incentives or gratuities. Please contact us if you have questions.
