Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center (OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center, and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), a specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), a coffee shop (Park Grounds), and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Guests can also enjoy Mokara Spa, a fitness center, and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) with a fire pit, outdoor lawn, and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 20,000 square foot ballroom, a 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space overlooking the park.

Job Description

Join the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel's opening team as a Housekeeping Houseperson (PM shift). This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public spaces and guest room floors, supporting Guest Room Attendants, and ensuring Omni standards are met to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities

1. Retrieve soiled linen and garbage from guest rooms and carts, disposing of them via linen chute or dumpsters.
2. Maintain hallways, report maintenance issues, and perform special cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or repainting.
3. Deliver guest amenities and fulfill special requests (e.g., rollaway beds, baby cribs, refrigerators, toiletries).
4. Complete assigned projects on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
5. Clean stairwells, elevators, and hallways, ensuring they are free of debris and room service trays.
6. Organize and restock housekeeping supply storerooms.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills are required.
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Prior hotel housekeeping or relevant environmental services experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and squat for extended periods; lift objects up to 30 lbs alone and up to 100 lbs with assistance; push/pull objects up to 75 lbs.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the hotel.
