Job summary

21c Museum Hotels in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain public areas and support guest satisfaction through high cleaning standards. The role includes cleaning floors, keeping carpets in good condition, restocking supplies, and assisting with room care while ensuring safety and security.

The position requires a flexible schedule, background check, and teamwork with the Housekeeping team to deliver a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience is a plus but not required.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Walks all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift, removes service trays and trash, and notes areas needing immediate cleaning.
• Removes soiled linen, terry and trash from housekeeping carts and takes to appropriate locations; recycles bottles, cans and paper.
• Maintains all carpets through extraction and spotting methods.
• Protects furniture from wear by rotating mattresses and box springs; routine preventative maintenance.
• Deep cleans guest rooms and bathrooms including carpet, chairs, and behind furniture.
• Cleans all public areas, elevators, service areas, and stairwells with safety and security in mind.
• Aids housekeepers with removal of rollways and stripping of rooms.
• Reports missing/found items, damages and maintenance issues.
• Responds to guest requests and questions; reports issues to Executive Housekeeper or Supervisor.
• Stocks linen closets with supplies (soap, shampoo, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Job Description

Reports To: Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor

General Purpose: Cleans and prepares public areas according to an established standard of cleaning to assure guest satisfaction and the overall appearance of the property.

Specific Responsibilities

• Walks all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift. Removes service trays and any trash and notes any areas that need immediate cleaning.

• Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to bend down and get on and off floor numerous times per day.

Education/Formal Training

• High School Diploma/GED
