Job Summary

The housekeeper partners with Infection Prevention and other areas in the hospital to maintain a sanitary and safe environment for patients and staff. A housekeeper will utilize the appropriate cleaning products and processes to reduce spread of disease(s).

Responsibilities

• Cleaning assigned areas including but not limited to patient rooms, operating room, emergency department, clinical areas, public areas, office areas, etc.
• Physical aspects include standing, twisting, squatting, bending during, pushing/pulling of cart/trash cart, mopping during their shift.

Education/Training/Experience

Required

• Customer Service Experience
• Regular/consistent attendance

Preferred

• High School Diploma/Equivalency
• One to two years of customer service experience

Pay Status

• Non-Exempt Hourly
