Peregrine Yountville Management LLC is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson in Yountville, CA. This role maintains the cleanliness of guest areas, elevators and assigned spaces, and handles deliveries to guestrooms.

You will participate in required meetings, follow hotel procedures, and help with various housekeeping tasks to support guest satisfaction. The position requires flexibility for long hours, including nights and holidays, with physical work and potential exposure to hotel chemicals.

• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas, elevators and all assigned areas.
• Deliver to guestrooms as needed.
• Walk through assigned areas at shift start and end, removing trash and linens and noting areas needing attention.
• Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with staff.
• Practice safe work habits to ensure safety of guests and staff.
• Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards.
• Report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Be familiar with guestroom cleaning procedures to assist with cleaning if required.
• Assist with cleaning when needed (bedboards, roll-aways, flip beds).
• Clean public areas and offices, and maintain housekeeping storage areas.

Position Summary - Pay Range $23.50/Hr

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest areas, elevators, and all assigned areas. The individual is also responsible for deliveries to the guestrooms.

Essential Functions

• Must adhere to the company's Service culture - 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
• Must participate in all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Walked assigned areas at beginning and end of shift; remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
• Use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other employees.
• Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow employees, and self.
• Handle items for \"Lost and Found\" according to the hotel standards.
• At the end of the shift, turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping Office.
• Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Be familiar with correct guestroom cleaning procedures to assist with cleaning if needed.
• Pick up any Room Attendant's dirty linen or trash as needed.
• Before leaving section, collect all trash from the room attendants carts and take to/dispose in outside trash dumpsters, per hotel procedures.
• Assist Housekeeping as needed (i.e. bedboards, roll-aways, flip beds, etc.)
• Clean public areas and offices, building's exterior and other areas as requested.
• Deliver any clean linen to assigned sections, if applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Housekeeping Office, linen rooms, storage closets and stairwells.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Abide by all hotel policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Working Conditions and Schedule

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required, including nights, weekends or holidays.
• Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Required to stand, walk, climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, and bend (fold, organize, scrub, etc.)
• May have exposure to chemicals.
