Eldercrest Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

You will provide housekeeping and laundry tasks, follow infection-control procedures, and help manage supplies. The role emphasizes teamwork and delivering high cleanliness standards to support residents' comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping and laundry services for residential and healthcare areas, ensuring equipment reliability and efficient operation.
• Follow cleaning materials, procedures, and infection-control guidelines.
• Maintain inventory and distribution of supplies, and negotiate contracts related to housekeeping and laundry services.
• Perform duties of a housekeeper/laundry worker.

What You'll Do:

• Provide housekeeping and laundry services for residential and healthcare areas, ensuring equipment reliability and efficient operation.
• Follow specific instructions on cleaning materials, procedures, infection control.
• Maintain inventory and distribution of supplies, and negotiate contracts related to housekeeping and laundry services.
• Perform duties of a housekeeper/laundry worker.

Qualifications You Bring:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Preferred:

• 1 to 2 years of housekeeping/laundry experience

Work Schedule

10am-5:30pm

Every other weekend
