Minden Medical Center is seeking a dependable EVS Technician for night shift to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary acute care hospital environment including IPF, IRF, surgical areas and clinics.

Responsibilities include routine/terminal cleaning, adherence to infection prevention standards, floor care, and occasional travel to nearby clinics. Benefits cover medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, HSA/FSA, competitive salary and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months healthcare or commercial housekeeping/Floor Tech experience preferred.
• Current active/clear Driver’s License.

Key responsibilities include routine and terminal cleaning of patient rooms, offices, and shared spaces; following infection prevention and EVS standards; performing floor care (strip, wax, buff, and maintain hard surfaces); and traveling to outer-building clinics/offices as assigned.

A Typical Night

Between areas, you document completed work, restock essentials, and handle occasional urgent requests with calm focus. Some nights include time at nearby clinics/offices, so you’ll plan your route, drive over, and finish tasks efficiently before returning to wrap up and hand off updates for the next shift.
