What You Will Do:
  • Clean assigned areas using germicidal solutions, including furniture, walls, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Wash walls, doors, ceilings, and windows; make patient beds; sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
  • Clean in outpatient and sterile processing areas following departmental procedures.
  • Complete all scheduled procedures thoroughly and report incomplete work for continuity.
  • Collect and sanitize waste and soiled linen; handle hazardous waste per Infection Control guidelines.
  • Use ladders to reach high areas for cleaning or hanging purposes.
  • Assist with arranging furniture for meetings and community events.
What You Will Need:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and be mobile.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Compliance with OSHA, CDC, and S.D.S. safety and health regulations, including proper PPE usage.
  • Successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.
