What You Will Do:

• Clean assigned areas by washing furniture, tile, fixtures, and equipment with germicidal cleaning solutions. Clean walls, doors, ceilings, televisions, windows; strip and make patient beds; sweep, mop floors, vacuum carpets.
• Clean in outpatient and sterile processing using proper cleaning solutions as per departmental procedures.
• Complete all scheduled procedures thoroughly during your shift, including work from previous shifts, and report incomplete tasks for continuity.
• Collect waste from all hospital areas and sanitize waste cans. Collect soiled linen and hazardous waste following Infection Control guidelines.
• Climb ladders to hang cubicles, curtains, or reach high areas for cleaning.
• Arrange furniture for meetings, workshops, and community events.

What You Will Need:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and be mobile.
• Ability to read and understand simple verbal and written instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Compliance with OSHA regulations, CDC standards, and proper PPE use. Ability to follow SDS provisions.
• Successful completion of a 90-day probationary period.
