Job summary

HHS Environmental Services, LLC (USA) is seeking a Housekeeping Dispatcher to coordinate EVS assignments and support timely cleaning of patient rooms and discharge beds.

You will answer EVS calls, assign tasks to housekeepers, and monitor room turnover while maintaining confidentiality and following infection control procedures. Weekend work is required in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Answer incoming EVS/Housekeeping calls and gather essential cleaning requests.
• Assign rooms to available housekeepers based on discharge/bed-cleaning needs.
• Track status of rooms and follow up on outstanding requests.
• Maintain accurate room assignment records and confidentiality standards.
• Work safely and follow infection control and chemical handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming EVS/Housekeeping telephone calls and obtain necessary information regarding cleaning requests.
• Receive discharge and bed-cleaning requests and assign rooms to available housekeepers.
• Communicate assignments and priority requests clearly to housekeeping team members.
• Track the status of assigned rooms and follow up on outstanding cleaning requests.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information regarding room assignments and completed work.
• Communicate with EVS leadership and hospital departments regarding room status and housekeeping needs.
• Respond promptly, accurately, and calmly to urgent requests and changing priorities.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information in accordance with privacy policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dispatch/work area.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, discharge rooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Follow proper safety, infection prevention, chemical handling, and cleaning procedures.
• Work as part of the EVS team to support efficient room turnover and overall hospital cleanliness.
