Job summary

HHS Environmental Services, LLC (USA) is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Dispatcher in Clearlake to coordinate cleaning requests, assign tasks to housekeepers, and monitor room turnover for a hospital environment.

You will answer calls, track assignments, and communicate priorities to the EVS team while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards. The role requires good English communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with weekend shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Comfortable answering phones, communicating assignments, and managing multiple requests.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and wear an uniform.
• Preferred: housekeeping experience in healthcare, environmental services, custodial, janitorial, or related.
• Previous dispatch or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming EVS/Housekeeping telephone calls and obtain necessary information regarding cleaning requests.
• Receive discharge and bed-cleaning requests and assign rooms to available housekeepers.
• Communicate assignments and priority requests clearly to housekeeping team members.
• Track the status of assigned rooms and follow up on outstanding cleaning requests.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information regarding room assignments and completed work.
• Communicate with EVS leadership and hospital departments regarding room status and housekeeping needs.
• Respond promptly, accurately, and calmly to urgent requests and changing priorities.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information per privacy policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized dispatch/work area.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and common areas.
• Follow proper safety, infection control, chemical handling, and cleaning procedures.
• Work with the EVS team to support efficient room turnover and hospital cleanliness.

Location: Clearlake Regional Medical Pay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 14.50 USD Hourly Work Shift: Afternoon Shift (United States of America)

Housekeeping Dispatcher Wage: $14.50/hour Full-time , must. work weekends Evening/Night shifts available Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

The Housekeeping Dispatcher supports the Environmental Services (EVS) team by coordinating housekeeping assignments and helping ensure patient rooms and discharge beds are cleaned in a timely manner. This position answers incoming EVS calls, communicates cleaning requests to housekeepers, tracks assignments, and assists with housekeeping duties as needed.

• Work as part of the EVS team to support efficient room turnover and overall hospital cleanliness.

• Preferred: Housekeeping experience, including cleaning, environmental services, custodial, janitorial, room attendant, floor care, hotel operations, or healthcare.
• Previous dispatch, customer service, or telephone experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment weighing over 100 lbs. on tile and carpeted floors throughout a shift.
• Must be able to handle cleaning chemicals, including bleach, wax, and disinfectants.
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
