Bridge Senior Living in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Detail-Oriented Housekeeping Director to lead the housekeeping department. You will direct staff, oversee operations, and ensure adherence to health, hygiene, and appearance standards in a senior living setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of housekeeping management experience in senior living or hospitality.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• At least 3 years of housekeeping management experience in senior living or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff and oversee all operations of the Housekeeping department.
• Train and orient staff; ensure protocols and safety regulations are followed.
• Coordinate projects and maintain records of completed work.
• Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Schedule and supervise housekeeping staff.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility and cleanliness.
• Assign work, set deadlines, and evaluate progress and quality.

Housekeeping Director Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Director is responsible for directing the staff and overseeing all operations of the Housekeeping department within established quality care and service standards in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

• Train and orient staff; ensure all Housekeeping protocols and procedures are followed in accordance with established health, hygiene, and appearance policies and regulations (including safety and risk management).
• Coordinate projects; maintain records of all project work completed.
• Manage inventory of Housekeeping supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Schedule and supervise Housekeeping staff
• Conduct routine inspection of building to ascertain cleaning needs.
• Assign work; establish deadlines; evaluate progress and quality of work.
