  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; coordinate ordering and procurement.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and resource efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest or patient satisfaction.
  • Handle staffing needs including hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and policies.
  • Address and resolve guest or resident complaints in a professional and timely manner.

General Statement of Responsibilities: The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance throughout the facility.
