You will lead housekeeping operations, schedule rotations, train staff, manage supplies, and enforce infection-control practices while collaborating with Nursing, Maintenance, Dietary, and Administration to support

Qualifications

• Experience leading housekeeping or environmental services in a healthcare setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.
• Ensure resident rooms, common areas, offices, and facility grounds are clean, sanitary, safe, and odor-free.
• Develop and manage housekeeping schedules and priorities.
• Train, coach, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and cleaning products.
• Ensure proper infection-control, sanitation, and safety practices are followed.
• Conduct routine inspections and address cleanliness or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Maintenance, Dietary, and Administration to support facility operations.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns related to cleanliness and environmental services.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare, OSHA, infection-control, and facility policies.
• Participate in inspections, audits, and quality-improvement initiatives as needed.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall environmental standards of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.
• Ensure resident rooms, common areas, offices, and facility grounds are maintained in a clean, sanitary, safe, and odor-free condition.
• Develop and manage housekeeping schedules, assignments, and daily priorities.
• Train, coach, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance and compliance with facility standards.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and cleaning products are available.
• Ensure proper infection-control, sanitation, and safety practices are followed.
• Conduct routine inspections and address cleanliness or maintenance concerns promptly.

• Respond professionally to resident, family, and staff concerns related to cleanliness and environmental services.

Schedule

Full-time | 24/7 Healthcare Environment/on call

This position may require flexibility to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
