The State of Oklahoma is seeking a Housekeeping/Custodial Worker for Quartz Mountain State Park Lodge. This entry‑level role involves cleaning lodge rooms, guest cabins, and other park facilities to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for visitors.

Typical duties include cleaning floors, washrooms, dusting, and reporting safety issues; flexibility to work holidays, weekends, or events is required as needed by the agency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve regular bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
• Some locations will require a valid Driver’s License.
• Scheduled hours will require flexibility, including holidays, weekends, or events, based on the needs of the agency.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, and hardware.
• Cleans and sanitizes washrooms and bedrooms, keeps washrooms supplied with paper, towels and soap.
• Collects and disposes of trash and garbage.
• Moves equipment and furniture such as beds, tables, and chairs in order to clean effectively.
• Stocks housekeeping supplies.
• Observes and reports safety violations; actively participates in emergency situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support daily operations and agency needs.

The starting pay for this position is $15.00/hr. After successful completion of a one-year trial period with OTRD, the rate of pay may increase to $15.45/hr.
